ARTIFICIAL TURF

What types of padel courts do we build?

Find out more.

We build throughout Spain

At Reindesa Instal·lacions Esportives, we are experts in the construction of padel courts

The surface of a padel court must be flat, level, and even, as well as being a single color (green, blue, or earth-toned), measuring 10 meters wide by 20 meters long. As for the types of court surfaces permitted by the rules, these include:

  • Artificial Turf: An artificial turf paddle tennis court provides a lower bounce and a slower speed. It includes silica sand in the artificial turf to ensure better traction for the shoes and to prevent slips or injuries.
  • Synthetic resin: offers great comfort during play, as the resin provides cushioning and ensures a good grip. On a synthetic resin padel court, the speed of play varies depending on the shot played. Furthermore, it is the most commonly used material in tournaments.
  • Porous concrete: This is a fully permeable surface with numerous pores that facilitate water drainage. It allows for quick movement, but not as much as cement surfaces.

Padel Court Maintenance

A padel court is a significant investment and, as such, requires proper maintenance to ensure its durability, optimal performance, and the safety of the players. A good preventive maintenance program will prevent major problems in the long term and extend the life of your facility.

Artificial turf is the most visible element and requires periodic brushing to redistribute the silica sand and lift the fibers, preventing matting and uneven wear. It is also crucial to replenish the silica sand as needed to maintain the ball’s bounce and the stability of the turf.

In addition, it is essential to ensure proper drainage of the court, especially after heavy rain, to prevent water from pooling and causing potential damage to the surface.

Enclosures for paddle tennis courts

For new installations, we handle the entire process, from the design and fabrication of the metal structure to the installation of the glass panels and mesh. We use top-quality materials, such as galvanized steel and tempered glass, which comply with current regulations and ensure maximum strength and durability. Our team of highly qualified professionals performs precise assembly, ensuring the stability and aesthetic appeal of the court.

When renovating older padel courts, we assess the current condition of the existing enclosures. We offer solutions for replacing deteriorated components, such as rusted mesh, damaged posts, or broken glass. We can also upgrade the structure to bring it up to modern safety and gameplay standards, or even completely renovate the enclosure to give your court a new lease on life. We ensure that the new installation integrates seamlessly with the existing infrastructure, minimizing disruptions and optimizing costs.

REPLACEMENT OF ARTIFICIAL TURF

Give your padel court a makeover. Artificial turf affects the quality of play and the players’ experience. Over time, even the highest-quality turf can show signs of wear and tear, which can affect the ball’s bounce and safety. That’s why, at Reindesa Instal·lacions Esportives, we offer a specialized service for replacing artificial turf to completely revitalize your padel court.

Our process begins with the removal of the old turf and silica sand, ensuring a clean, prepared base for the new installation. Next, we install state-of-the-art artificial turf designed specifically for padel. We work with different types of fibers and pile heights, selecting the one that best suits your needs and the style of play you’re looking for.

Installation is carried out with the utmost precision, ensuring that the turf is perfectly taut, wrinkle-free, and that the playing lines are seamlessly integrated. Finally, professional sanding is performed, applying just the right amount of silica sand to optimize traction, drainage, and bounce.
