The client has asked us to restore and refinish the mixed-material pool deck, which is in very poor condition—it has cracks and is discolored.

We were working with a porous concrete surface that was severely crumbling and had sunken areas

Since this is a public swimming pool, the decision was made to install new porous paving along the first 1.5 meters of the perimeter of the pool. To repair the rest of the area farther from the water, artificial turf was installed after the base had been prepared.
