Many tests were conducted to address the two most visible problems. To eliminate root fungi, we first tried a herbicide-type chemical; although it eliminated the fungi, it did not eradicate them at the root, so they reappeared shortly thereafter. We then tried a pure liquid disinfectant, which produced the desired results.
\nTo ensure effective disinfection while also improving drainage, we thoroughly cleaned the court. Once this was completed, in the areas where water runoff could not be improved\u2014and since we would be applying a coat of paint that would impede drainage\u2014we built channels using porous concrete to ensure the surface would dry quickly. <\/p>\n
