Tennis is played on a rectangular, smooth surface, which can be made of various materials. <\/span><\/p>\n

The court <\/span>must also allow for additional space on the sides and at the back to reach balls in play that go beyond the court boundaries; according to international regulations, these dimensions must be 3.65 meters and 6.40 meters, respectively. <\/span> <\/p>\n

The dividing net <\/span>must be 0.914 m high at the center and 1.07 m high at the posts that support it. <\/span> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
